July 23rd 2006 Cellular Spirituality - Message #2 A Biology of Belief: The free-form ways in which our spiritual lives develop and how we stay healthy |
Every issue is connected to every other issue and every awareness is connected to every other awareness; if one part of our body is sick, the whole body suffers. But conversely, there are antibodies, things that are healthy in us that are fighting infection, that are fighting sickness, that are making us well. It’s those things that, when we feed them and nurture them, actually chase away sickness and make us healthier, spiritually speaking. We’re going to use diagrams and some visual aides to try to illustrate all of this. It also ties in closely with the series that follows on spiritual competencies, beginning the weekend of July 29-30.

Tuning in from SoCal! Great message, and one that is very relevant based on current events at other Jackson congregations. I love when it’s so obvious God is way ahead of us by planning a message like this to counter hard feelings and confusion of several guests you likely had in your congregation this past week. On top of that, it’s an overall good message that the world needs to hear.
