March 4th 2007 To Kill a Mockingbird |
In association with the Jackson District Library, Westwinds will be devoting two weeks to spiritual discussion surrounding the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee. Set in Alabama during the Depression, To Kill a Mockingbird revels in the innocence of a young girl as she engages the injustice of her town. At turns provocative and empathetic, the novel compels us to listen to the voice of our spirit and be governed by conscience and grace.
